Hey Crew
These are one different sup, I thought they were going to be like a floating matress when I first read about them on the net , but after using a demo I got from the boys at redpaddleco.com these things a bloody insane. So we have decided to take them on as a dealer. We have demos for all you people who are looking for a sup who doesn’t have the space at home or you want to travel places where you can’t with a hard board.
Here is a heap of info from redpaddleco.com to give you a extensive understanding while these inflatable are one of the best in the world.
zak
Here at Red Paddle Co we are all mad keen on SUP. We are a young team of passionate paddlers who live, sleep, breath Stand Up Paddling. There’s not an area of the sport we haven’t tried. We like to think we have a well rounded team. Some like to surf, some like to cruise, and all of us like to paddle standing up. Our boards do it all and best of all you don’t need a Mach truck to take them home!
B%%£$ I just drove over my board!
Having a board that can pack up small was one thing. Having a board that was strong enough to drive your car over was a totally different story.
Standard inflatable boards use what is known as Single Layer construction. This is pretty simple to explain – basically the board is made up of one layer, inside of which is the air. It doesn’t take an Einstein theory to work out that if this single layer was to rip or become holed then it wouldn’t take long for your board to be empty of air!
This obviously would not be a great situation. The easy solution was just to wrap the boards in a second layer. We wanted to go one step further so we started experimenting with a material construction called ”Zero Lose”.
Zero lose material is insanley tough and will block any amount of air from escaping. So in everyday use this means you could pump up your board and leave it inflated and not a single drop of air would find it’s way out. Zero lose is also super tough which means there is also no chance you will rip your board.
Rail Lock
One of the weakest areas of any board whether it be a hard epoxy board or an inflatable is the rail. This areas gets whacked, beaten and charged at by all manner of things – paddles, beaches, rocks, boats, jetties, etc. Most epoxy boards have some serious scrapping and chipping down their rails.
The rails of all Red Airs use our Rail Lock construction, We interlock multiple layers of cloth to create an almost unbreakable barrier. Using the highest grade glues available the rails are then glued under pressure to assure there is no chance of damage from foreign objects.

Pump it up!
Red Air boards can be inflated to a very high pressure. More pressure means two things
1) A stiffer board
2) A consistent shape
Those two things combined mean that in everyday use a Red Air will match the equivalent sized hard board for everyday paddling.
99% of people want to be able to inflate their board quickly and easily. The only problem was that the standard pumps you could buy for inflating boards just were not up to the job. We broke tens of pumps when we first started working with our boards, not to mention the number of blisters that we developed on our hands!
The truth was that there wasn’t a pump available that could put upwards of 15psi into our board in under 5 minutes. We were not happy to sell our boards with pumps that were not up to the job, so we set about designing and building a purpose built pump.
Now all Red Airs are provided with a pump free of charge and it is not just any old pump. It means you can pump your board to 15-20psi in under 5 minutes. It’s so good other brands are using our design now!
The Red Ezeee pump is the best, most reliable pump for SUP boards on the market. Inflate your board to 15-20psi in under 5 minutes and our turbo valve allows quick and easy deflation and pack up.
